I'm not a current member so can I still attend?
Of course. Non members are $50 to preregister, $65 at the gate.
You can choose member or non-member when registering online or by mail. The link gives you those choices (but the computer know if you're a member, LOL).
(Members save $15 from the cost of both pre-reg & gate )
Latest update- Campfires will be permitted. Just like the good ol' days.
And wood is FREE!
Hope you can make it RAY!
BREAKING NEWS- BMW RA 2015 Rally Early bird pre-registration will qualify you for a drawing for a BMW Motorcycles Navigator Adventure GPS by Garmin. Cutoff date will be July 1st, 2015. Someone will win. Last year, we gave away a Navigator V to one lucky winner from Michigan in a drawing we held in July. This year, we hope to give away a Navigator Adventure to someone that pre-registers at http://bmwra.org/rally/rally-<WBR>pre-registration
Thank you BMW Motorrad USA
There will be a caterer serving breakfast and dinner each day for a modest fee and food vendors will be there as well.
I just joined to take advantage of the member discount for rally registration. Now this. Good deal ! I've been to the last 4 or 5 of their rallies and I like the slower pace and laid back feel of their rallies.
Time is short for those thinking of attending the rally Oct 1-4, 2015. Deadline for the drawing for a Garmin Nav Adventure ends this month. If you register for the rally before July 1st, you will be in the drawing. Winner will be announced at the closing of the rally but does not have to be present to win. Go to bmwra.org to register. And, good luck!
Plan on being there, but it'll depend on whether I am working or not.
Be careful in Arkansas. My wife was there 18 months ago and a woman hell bent on adopting a new kitten left turned in front of my wife.
You can imagine the results.
All I can say is:
1) thank God/Allah/Yahweh/Shiva whoever that I bought her a new Aria Helmet and Aerostich Roadcrafter for the previous Christmas. It saved her life.
2) if you do get hit, play hard ball. Initially, the driver gave us a bogus insurance number. After a lot of calls, one to an attorney in Arkansas, we finally got the correct insurance info.
3) only idiots take the first offer from insurance weasels. At first they offered $300... when it was said and done we got the bike fixed, the stich repaired, and a new helmet and Held gloves - about $5900 give or take.
I plan on riding down there. Never ridden The Ozarks. It'll be my first Beemer rally too.

We are going. Plus our Beagle and Rat Terrier. That means we will be hauling the bikes down. That is fine with me. I drive and Barbie sleeps.
Leaving from Wilmington, NC on Wednesday for the marathon 17 hour trip. I have done it in one day on the RT, but this will be easier.
During the Rally, for people camping, are there any showers at the fairgrounds?
I've been told there will be shower trailers. I just can't go 4-5 days without a shower. If not, I'd just pull up to the nearest campground shower, and be done with it .
Can I come too? With Anakee III's on my GSAW?
It is looking promising for me to attend. Will the BMW demo truck be there?
Hopefully the pig trail is open by then? All the rain, there was a slip. Then as they were about to open it again, then a much bigger slip.
And Pie at the Oark general store.
Bit much of a day ride, but the Talamena scenic drive is a good road, I lost some chicken strips there.
Push Mountain Road. First time I ever stopped the bike and smelled hot rubber.
Any inmates have some insight to cabin rental around Harrison? Several "Sand Box" GS riders thinking about riding the Ozarks for a couple of days and the RA.
