It's far too cold here to ride today, so I thought I'd share some mods with everyone & try out my new Canon PowerShot S110 at the same time.............

Based on six years RT experience spread over four different 'bikes & over 100,000 miles, I've completed the following mods since acquiring the latest 1150RT a couple of weeks ago:

    1. Colour matched case & topcase lids

    2. Rubber system case protectors

    3. Topcase backrest

    4. Stainless steel fasteners throughout

    5. Stainless steel fairing screws with clear nylon washers

    6. Carbon fibre front mudguard with rubber mudflap

    7. BMW cylinder guards

    8. Chrome rocker cover screws

    9. Exhaust collector box protector

    10. Stainless steel dome nuts for exhaust headers

    11. Alloy bleed nipple protectors

    12. Headstock trim badge/alloy bolt buttons

    13. Datatag passive security system

    14. Strategic clear paintwork protectors

    15. Autoglym paintwork polish & glaze

    16. BMW tankbag/fittings

    17. BMW System case inner bags

    18. 21W tail light bulb

25 hours polishing?! I don't think I've put that many hours into cleaning bikes in the last five years!

That's 'cos you spend so much time harassing the bystanders on this BBS........................

Polishing time includes fitting all the goodies!

And I'd trade it all for a decent ride out tomorrow..................:cry

The only time I clean my bikes real good is after riding in the rain!
Normally I just clean the windshield & bugz of the front end:cry
