    SWEET!!! Nice work Mr. Scary..

Don't worry about the wife, just throw her on the back and take her for a ride... If she's like my wife, umm, she'll definely love the vibes from the single.... :evil :evil :evil
Of course make it a short ride, only around the block once or twice, wouldn't want to make her to excited about YOUR new toy.

As far as the vibes go. As everyone says they do smooth out. 3000 miles and the engine will be like butter compared to now. To damp the bars a bit better, fill them with birdshot. Cheap and works really well.

i agree. i rode my gs down to prescot, az, last month to see my buddys new bike. he had just bought an 01 adv. from a dealer and was telling me about how shitty it ran. turns out it was just that the pilot jet had gotten plugged. i cleaned the carb, tossed the snorkle, and had a RIOT on that bike! i have an 01 ktm exc 300 that i race and love but i had not ridden any ktm 4 stroke before this one. i think i might have to buy one, but i could not trade it for my gs.

fwiw, my buddy paid $5,500 for an 01 w/ 3,000 mi and you could eat off this bike - it is perfect! you might be taking more of a $ hit than you need to but i know what it is like to want something NOW!!

    enjoy your new bike, scary.

Congrats Scary, Seems like there is a KTM Adventure "plague" in the making. I have a GSA and when I saw the KTM - just had to have a "second adventure". Not much experience with it yet, but would appreciate any tips, Allan.

Some of you guys are having a hard time finding new KTM Adventures: as of last week, Carolina Wheels and Props (BMW/Ducati/KTM dealer) in Myrtle Beach, SC had a new one sitting on the flo'.
