Just a reminder - I'm going to be spending Thur/Fri nights at the Cabin Creek Cabin. Visitors/overnighters are welcome. Single track exploration will be the theme of the day(s). Intermediate to expert level are all in the area. All riding is beyond scenic.

    Let's ride

Edit: Friday and Saturday rides are on the schedule

You are doing some quality riding. I can imagine the experience about sundown. Thanks for the report.

Jonz, sorry I couldn't make it up to the cabin, I was looking forward to it from the time the plan was made but I had a client fly into town on Friday and through a monkey wrench into my plans. I hope that we can still get a few rides in this summer.

Anyone have a recommendation for a KTM mechanic I need to replace the front cylinder head on my 950 adventure. I striped out the port that the oil pressure switch screws into. Then I tried to install a heliciol and things got worse, so I need a mech. While to engine is on the bench I thought I should replace the bearings and possibly open the cylinders up a bit. If you know someone with a good understanding of the LC8 engine please let me know. If you have spare 990 LC8 engine just lying in the garage let me know. Thanks

Any of you fellow Bozeman riders still hitting the trails? I traded my 250 for a 2019 xr650l. Very stoked.

I just quit my job and my next one doesn't start for a couple weeks, so hope to get some riding in. Likely mostly road though. Maybe some FS. Happy trails while it lasts!

Sure. Can you upload to this site or need a hosting site for the images?

Easy to upload a few pics without a photo hosting site. Just click on the orange bar that says upload pic or gps track. You can even copy and paste

Not a great photo. I had only enough time for a short ride after picking up the new bike. I really like the 650L. 650.jpg

Not in town but as soon as you go up in elevation 200 feet there's snow. We're averaging 15 degrees below normal for temps too. October has been a bit of a bust for riding. Too bad, my fav time of year.
