T/W Dustjunkie last night and his new 530 apparently grew some marbles somewhere inside the engine bay, don't think he's coming.
Hope someone else is stickmeat certified.

Good group of 9 I think. Prefect wx, almost no dust, lots of fun, and nobody finished the whole loop this year. Here's a teaser photo. It's the only "dismount" photo I'm gonna post and sorry David but yours is the winner.

    More to come.

Good fun was had by all as we thrashed about halfway up the loop. And just for clarification (despite a few comments heard trailside :lol3 ), FFL stands for Friday Freeway Loop, not F**kin' Freeway Loop!!

As the shadows started lengthening, we made the decision to divert to a mine road up into the hills by Joshua Tree NP. While plenty challenging, it wasn't quite as technical as the FFL. For those that skipped the ride, here's a shot that almost captures the magical desert twilight.

    More photos later.

I'm heading down to Gearhart's place for some BBQ tonight :dg & :freaky and weather permitting, a Repeat the Repeaters ride tomorrow.

That's about as far as we got on the southside leg. Shadows were getting long, so we slipped under the freeway to get on the northside return leg. :cry

to a high speed graded road to the staging area. The last stretch was downhill & paved. Strega clocked the Gasgas tapped out at 55mph! It was a pretty exciting moment for me!
