What is a carbon canister solenoid?[/QUOTE]
Emission control equipment may not have been fitted to this bike but the loom would still be there they don't look like they have had anything plugged into them.

Well spent some time out in the shop today, tried to mount the rear fender and rear taillight. Ugh the inner fender appears to be busted. Going to have to replace. And I need a couple screws to hold the light on as those were epixyed together. Both sides look like this

With the inner fender busted the rear fender just flops around. I don’t know how that gets busted but the po did it on both sides. Going to head down and order a new one as I coldnt find one used anywhere.

Also does anybody know where I can find the proper fuel lines and hose clamps for inside the tank? Along with quick disconnects and fuel lines? Does the line that has fuel flowing out go on top or bottom to the pressure regulator?

Beemer Boneyard has the lines and clamps.

The return is the bottom line:

I don’t know if I could ever express my gratitude. If you make it to the northwest I’ll be the first to buy you a beer. Thanks again

I will take you up on that. I plan to visit my sister in Tacoma, visit Seattle, and Spokane in the next few months. :-)

Seriously, glad I could help. By the way, make sure you have the quick disconnects reversed for the supply and return lines so you can't connect them backwards.

The return is the bottom line:

    Are you sure ?
I think it is the one in the top of the photo.
Doesn't the pressure from the pump come in the bottom and distribute to the injectors ( the 3 bottom ports are all common) and the regulated out the top hose back to the tank.
If it came in the top was regulated to the injectors and there is no restriction in the return line to the tank then it would not maintain the correct pressure??????????
    Just my 2 cents worth

Haven’t made any real progress this week. I bought a new bike and got a bit distracted!!
Also been in a holding pattern as I wait for parts.

Luckily I found a used windshield on here. Told it was a stock screen. When it showed up it appears to be parabellum screen which is the screen I really wanted. The mounts however don’t fit at all. Does anyone know if these screens have there own mounts? It did come with all the bolts and washers and they are smaller then the stock ones and don’t fit the stock mounts.

Also jim, those pics you posted above are worth a million bucks. I need to order the fuel lines and the quick connects from beemer boneyard.

I ordered most of my fuel pump parts today and the fuel pump should be in, in a couple weeks. Hoping to get the headlight and the dash set up this weekend. Ordered the new inner fender and the parts for the rear also today! I’m hoping to have it most of the way done by thanksgiving!

Will still need to rebuild the front master cyclinder, brake lines throughout, brake pads, tires and possibly a new front wheel.

Been in a holding pattern as I wait for parts. Well today my inner fender and fuel lines showed up! Put the inner fender in and then mounted the rear tail light! Still need to wire it all in.

Anybody have any experience with the perabellum windscreen? They say that you need the optional clock and tach mounts. My windshield mounts have tabs will that work?

Finally got a few mins over thanksgiving to get the dash repainted and the rear turn signals wired in. Still need to wire in the rear tail light. Ordered a few parts from bmw and beemer boneyard. Hopefully next weekend I can get a half a day to get most of it put back together. Should get a couple of pics later today.

Still curious if anybody has any experience with the parabellum windshields

Yeah I got lucky, all the painted parts are in great shape.

Finally got my fuel pump in now waiting on some parts from beemer boneyard. Then time, when I started this I had unlimited time, now tho it’s a hot commodity. Next week in the evenings or next weekend I should finally get time to put it in and then throw it mostly back together! I can’t wait to take it for a ride!

I got lucky as the bike has a signal minder so the led turn signals work great. I need some spade connectors in order to get the tail light wired in.
