I know nobody knows me in this group yet, since I just joined a month or so ago. But, I was looking for some sympathy and I just knew I could find it here.

Took the KTM 200EXC to Keithsburg, Il today to get some practice for next weeks hare scrambles. There I was riding along, minding my own business, when a tree jumped out in front of me and attacked me. Score: Tree - one, Me - zero. Four broken ribs according to the xray. At least I have an excuse for not racing next weekend. Many thanks to the people who loaded all my stuff and made sure I was going to live. This should'nt put a damper on my dual sporting plans, just as long as I don't drop my Adventure and have to try and pick that pig up.

Side note: I hate telling the hospital staff your there because of a motorcycle injury. Some stupid nurse asked me if I was wearing a helmet when she heard I was there because of a bike. I said no, I don't ride a Harley. My apologies to the Harley owners in our group.

Yea, it was all the bike's fault. Those KTM's suck. I was thinking of trading it for a recliner and plasma TV!
