Well, that was an underwhelming performance. Lock looked......lost. Even the new coach said he was disappointed. And what's with noodle-armed Rypien from Boise State? I saw that kid play in a lot of Mountain West games that had him chucking the ball all over the field. Last night he looked like the second coming of Trent Dilfer. Sheesh.
Aside from that I'm thinking that they'll have a helluva lineup on both sides of the ball come the opener.
Well sorry to resurrect this thread but can we all agree that Flacco needs to go away?
To be replaced by who?, hear theres a Manning going to be available soon.
The bigger problem is the loss of Mr. Bowlen and his somewhat dysfunctional family. His passion for football is unlikely to have been passed down. I fear our once proud franchise is headed for a long decline.
They could do a lot worse.
they should replace Scangarello as OC for a start.
The wheels are continuing to come off, the players are openly critical of the conservative play calling - already.
Just heard this morning that he had no previous experience as an OC. That revelation surprised me as I thought he was the hot shit wunderkind from SF and the Broncos scored big when they got him. Seems that the 49ers didn't miss a beat losing Scangarello and now I'm wondering what's going on. That said and in his defense, he probably didn't know just how lousy the OL is and that he'd have to call plays know they function more as a sieve.
