    Hello,
one of our dogs gives reasons for concern (nothing life threatening) and we would like to have her checked.

Because our budget is very tight and we already experienced very expensive visits to a vet in the US, we hope to find some nice vet who would be along our way towards west and able to check our dog for a more RTW-traveler friendly fee.

We do not have any kind of insurance for our dogs because they do not exist for RTW travelers (and we are not entitled for local insurances).

Please PM me if you can help.

You don't say where you are at right now but if you were to travel through the Cleveland Ohio area I could pro'ly arrange something. My brother in law is a vet and owns a multi doctor clinic in an eastern suburb. Also have a friend who is dog whisperer and Vegan who might help out or know somebody.

We are currently in Nebraska (Plainview) and are heading west. In one week we will be in Julesburg, then first heading North to Badlands before coming back to CO (later in August).
No detailed plans yet made for Colorado except exploring some of the nice scenery there. I just drew a rough plan to visualize what we want to do.

After that via Salt Lake City north to Yosemite and then towards Seattle.

Look up and contact the Animal Humane Society facilities on your travel path. Many have reduced price vet services.

As a dog lover, I would be more than willing to chip in some cash to make this happen ASAP. Could we get a little collection going here?

Broken Bow is not far from Plainview and slightly off your path west.

    Check your PMs.

The good news is the part of the country you're going through is more likely to have small vet practices in small or medium sized towns with reasonable fees. In farm towns, you're likely to find practices that do large animal care as well as pets and working dogs. The market for vets who do cosmetic surgery on designer dogs is much smaller out here.
