Like many people, I've seen the Hunter Cub, an adventure take on the 2020 Super Cub. Rather than waiting for an actual model to be available, does anyone know how hard it would be to take an existing 'new super cub' and retool it into an offroad capable model like that?
That's interesting. I wasn't sure if the 2020 revived Super Cub had that same breadth of aftermarket options.
After doing some more reading - the answer is surprisingly no. While parts exist, apparently the Hunter Cub will feature frame reinforcements, a different transmission, and other actual upgrades. I'd have to strip it to the white, reinforce things, paint it, remodel it, etc. - all of which would cost grossly more than the new bike itself.
