How come in this picture: It appears that the earthworks is smack up against the side wall of the new structure, as well as a tree? If so - and sorry to be negative here - won't this present future moisture problems and root problems? Possible structural force/weight against sidewall problems as well. It appears that the slope and therefore the water drainage will be right up against the side of the structure, affecting the life of what looks like pine lumber. Just bringing this up as if it IS what it appears, now is the time to correct it? Interesting though, that in other pictures it doesn't look at though the slope is right against the structure.
