Did the thread title change recently?

I've had my Montana for 6 years and have not yet used the security screw. For trail riding I don't need to do anything to secure the Montana. In a city I quickly pop the Montana off and either put it in luggage or take it in to look at maps while eating lunch.

Am I missing something here? Surely the purpose of the security screw is to let you lock the Garmin in situ and to stop others from (quickly or easily) removing it. With this, anyone can simply unscrew and remove the GPS?
