I purchased one of the H4 LED lights from ADVMonster, and it did not fit.

I contacted ADVMonster and they promptly responded, but only offered store credit. I said, I would like a refund for this light you sent that does not fit the application you said it would.

Light was sent back over a month ago, with documentation showing how there is no way the light will fit.

Zero communication or replies from ADVMonster since then. Is this guy just a thief? Would not recommend dealing with them. Cheap crap and zero product support.

i dont think he's a thief,,, but yeah, happy to sell, not happy to return, even when he says he will. actually quite a bit of chatter in various threads on the subject,,, he's alienated quite a few inmates.

As long as you have a tracking # for the return, you can charge it back thru your CC or PP

Similar situation. I got my refund but minus a stout restocking fee.

Too easy to purchase from another business.

At this point I would be on the phone with my credit card company contesting the charge, if he does not want to do business like a reasonable responsible business owner then let the credit card companies have their way with him. If it happens often enough he will lose the ability to process payments....

I got a replacement out of them a few months ago on a Model 60 Aux light. I have 4 of them on my Tiger, one somehow had an o-ring damaged and it went bad, it got replaced no problem.

This is the bullshit from this vendor. This is a snapshot of their “web chat” I finally got with them this morning. It is now way past end of business in Florida, and still no further communications from them, and certainly no refund. Again, they have had the part back for a month, and it was returned in new condition in original packaging. I never even plugged it in, as it did not fit in the headlight.

I spent 20 years on the retail side of the motorcycle industry, and was willing to give these folks the benefit of doubt. Busy time of year and all that... but now they are just really pissing me off.

I would not recommend dealing with them. Ever.

The website said nothing about having to modify the stock headlight to make the bulb fit. I would never have ordered it in the first place if the descriptions were accurate. There is no way I’m going to cut up a $500 BMW headlight to fit some super crappy Chinese overpriced bulb!

Sorry for your troubles but even w/ the new bulb the headlight still sucks and needs more to be somewhat safe at night.

The extra lip is a BMW thing....

    Cut up the bike...? Never....:photog

I bought a light from them a few years ago. The anodizing went from black to green within a few months. They basically told me that's just how it is.

Have you contacted your credit card company to dispute the charge yet? You gave the company more than enough chances and time to do the right thing, time to get your money back in a way that is less than pleasant for the dealer.

looks like they farmed out support overseas, i had this exact type of conversation with a verizon business rep the other day. i'd like to assume that the parent company has no idea how lousy some of the contracted overseas support is and in their blissful ignorance all is well and customers are satisfied.

    Two sides to every story.

@sanjoh, why is your company giving the OP such a hard time getting his money back?

My similar situation got deleted by a mod a while ago. Maybe I was too vocal, pointed, or opinionated?
I would not recommend, or ever do business with, this seller again.
