    The china casting are very porous and the ports are in deferent places, like snow flakes no two are alike. Get some porting tools have some fun.

    the lighting coil is on my mind two, we night ride with enduro helmet lights.

    Please post about this when you get to it as my kid wants to go trail riding on his PW80 and I would like to get him some lights for safety.

    Will do. For now we have been using these

    @RMATVMC

    I haven’t got many cycles on the batteries but they last a long time. And throw great light. More power than I will get out of a coil.
    I had thought about cyclops blinkers and kit to look street legal just to be ridiculous

    Ah gotcha, yea I'm not too worried about bottoming out, I know it will but the bike isnt going to stray too far from my camp site and I can always add a shock later, I plan on moving the mounting point up a bit to raise it a little bit, but nothing extreme, just gonna be a camp bike putter with a bit more pep, something different

    Dude that looks great! I'm sure you already answered this, but where did you get the black plastics/tank? or did you paint over the OG plastics?

    Tank is a white tank that I boiled with rite dye and Acetone. Plastics came from BW conversion

    I got a 20mm mikuni and a scooter pipe to play with. Stll have to do more base line testing before I can make big changes.

    started a conversation with HPI to find a different ignition with lighting coil. Think I might put a ridiculously bright @Baja Designs light on the front.

    Going to widen the id of the exit pipe. Cutting some take off handle bars to fit the bends. Then I will do some more testing. Also going to make an intake I have the plate laid out will try to get it cut out today. Need to make a flange for vm20 carb also.

    What is that? Lighting coil and heavier flywheel? Adjustable timing plate? I'd be interested in all that, the crank out of my bike (and the cases for that mater) are hosed, total corroded and been in a swamp for 20 years, so either ill have to run the PW80 ebay crank I have with the 18 degree offset for the timing and notch the stator plate to compensate, or pick up a used BW80 crank and rebuild it

    What can rust other than bearings? I think you can salvage that. Millennium can dam near fix anything. Oh or maybe re key or press the china crank with the left half of the stock crank. I have a china crank, shipping plus 10$

    Already got a set of PW cases on order from ebay, and I have a new crank kit sitting here from way back, not worth it to me to try and salvage that crank or cases, started blasting them and that made it worse, rather spend some money now and get it all right then be messing around with it when I want to ride it, parts are cheap for these things
