I actually had a pair of Motosport roundels on my 1983 60th Anniversary RT.
I got them from a dealer out of Cochrane, Alberta. (MotoSpezial)
Owner's name was Roger Ruben and he was an airhead RS hot rodder.
He built some very fast bikes including his own personal K75 Turbo.
He sold the roundels until BMW corporate got wind of it and busted him.
Rog didn't give a chit about the folks from das fatherland (his operation was not an official dealership) so the motosport trinkets were basically sold out of the back door.
    Wish I had kept mine.
    RIP Roger Ruben.

While not a fan of the flat paint jobs now coming on bike, that Rapitan Grey ( I think that is what it was called ) always grabbed my eye. Add the tan/brown seat and you got a winner. :clap:clap:clap

I appreciate the compliment, it is supposed to be a maroon color. If anybody has one collecting dust, I would like a non faded one.
