Time to get ready for BYOB 2016!

@Scotty P has volunteered to be the Tyrant for this year and has started making plans to host this years rally at Boyer's Station. I am just the mouth piece because I started this thread :lol2 Any questions feel free to PM and I'll get you pointed in the right direction if I don't have an answer. This is the 12th annually BYOB so we will take whiskey aged atleast that long as payment :deal

Marienville could be a great place to have BYOB. Great riding both pavement and dirt in that area. In the 2015 thread a motel campground was suggested. If that place is chosen, even though it appears to only have a handful of rooms, there are several other motels in Marienville that could easily handle the overflow of inmates who want a room rather than camp. Some may even be in walking distance but certainly no further than a 1/2 mile or so. There are several restaurants in Marienville as well as convenience stores so supplies and fuel would not be an issue.

I am for it! And I officially nominate DingDangKid as BYOB Ruler of the Universe! All say Yay or Nay! I say YAH!!

    Rick G

PS DingDangKid, if you accept this mission, I promise to help as much as my rigorous work travel schedule permits.

    Ding Dang,

I am exploring a potential spot in Romney WVa.

    Thanks for kick starting this.

Marionville would be a good spot.

Between Romney and Keyser on 50 I saw a spot that could maybe work too. Let me see if I can find it

Wish someone would scout out Ky...there has to be somewhere there in the hollows without heavy drug growing problems

Marionville certainly follows the pattern of having it South one year and North the next to allow folks from different areas with limited travel schedules to attend.

I am sure I can do some leg work in Marienville as it is doable for me in a single long day, but down in Keyser or Romney that would not be work for me to scout. But I am sure I will attend either location.

So, since it's closed we could just squat there for the weekend. After we did some mowing to tidy up. :D

I like the north south thing so those of us far north can attend easier with limited sheduales. I like the PA idea....but why wouldn't I? I will say that on the way down to the gals rally, I got a bit lost in rural PA and I am continuously surprised by how good PA riding is.
