FCR club membership is $100 the first year, although the club gives money back to you for working events, cleaning the club grounds, and attending the Corn Roast and Annual Dinner, so my second year was only $50 or so. You can camp on-site whenever you want, and all the members are pretty cool.

All you need is a check and two signatures from club members, and you're in! Website is http://www.forestcityriders.com

    Karl:

We rode up to Byron and one of they guys working the sign-up desk looked at another guy riding a KTM525 and said 'hey, you ride BMW's, can he get through this course?' The BMW/KTM rider said 'No Way, he's too wide to get through some of the woods sections'. So I had fun where it was flat and wide, but didn't attempt any of the more technical sections like Skinner. As those of you who know him, he is fearless or crazy, or both... : )

I'm still a member, but we're only in the country for a few more days. I have to go to China for work during Thanksgiving week, then we move to Italy during the beginning of December.
