On the last ride with the PANTRA gang, one of the really good guys made a slight miscalculation within the first few minutes, clipped a rock outcrop and got launched into a ravine. Don’t have a pic of him or the bike, but here’s a pic of some of us looking down at him and the bike. Even with a mountaineering rescue pulley system, it took at 5 of us to get his bike back onto the trail. Luckily, it’s been a wet year out here, so the bushes are plentiful and he got stopped by them 20 ft down on the 100 ft drop! These wackos are helping me to up my game, but I’m skeered sometime. I ain’t lyin!
