Going to Hardrock Cycle Park tomorrow to support the TRTTC team of Danny, Scott, & Tim. Weather looks primo for the event. I’m bringing the 300 to get around on, but an MTB also works well for spectating. Some sections can be accessed by foot too. Event starts at 10am.
If anyone else is up for supporting the home team, come on out and enjoy!

Thunder Road Trials Training Center. Near Middleburg. At least one of the best trials riders in the whole USofA has taken a dab or two there. Pretty cool training facility.

Today I was in Ocala NF and saw a sign that I hadn't seen before on 19. It said something to the effect of motorcycle restrictions and to see and use a forest map. It's this something new?

If it’s what I think it is, I don’t think it’s anything new. Unless I’m mistaken (usually am), it’s to remind you that you are allowed only on numbered roads. OHV trails and Motorcycle loop are a separate issue. Technically, if it’s not numbered, it’s not something you are supposed to be on. If it’s a numbered trail in Avenza it’s legit. Someone correct me if I’m wrong (usually am).

I thought those were the rules too. But this was a new sign. I go through there a lot and never seen this sign before. It was on 19 going south, after the Ocklawaha and maybe just after the road to the dam. That's what prompted me to think there were some new rules. Just like the fees recently changed. Thought it might have been part of that. Hopefully, its just a new sign as a reminder of existing rules.

Hmmn... I thought the difference was between roads/trails for which a plated bike were required, vs. ones for which a paid use (daily or annually) were required.

And that if you had BOTH (plate and pass), you could ride pretty much anything (unless otherwise restricted by a specific sign, ie horses or bicycles only).

Just FYI for any of you that like to ride Etoniah State Forest. Vehicle access to Etoniah has been restricted to only during hunting season. The only exception is Scrub/North Cablegate Roads which are the roads that run northwest from Holloway Rd to Tinley Rd. I got a warning this afternoon and another guy I know got one a while back from the same new FWC officer. The new regs are on the WMA website for Etoniah.

I'm going to have to get me one of those aftermarket exhaust. Yea, that's the difference between his AT and mine.

No, it's the background music. If that wasn't playing, he wouldn't be able to do that.

I think your rev limiter is broken, seeing as I've never heard it. :D
