When I left Friday night I came across a nasty head on collision about 2 miles south of H on 51. I'm guessing the helicopter rides being referenced may have been due to this unfortunate accident.
Edit: I was just informed of another unfortunate accident involving one of our group getting airlifted. Thoughts and prayers to this rider and hoping for a full recovery.
I rode up on the accident on 51 the skid marks and carnage bewildered me. had to wait 20 min. while they rolled the car back on it's wheels. Parked right beside a state trooper and felt very uncomfortable on my dirt bike with him staring at me and the motor shut off.
Well as Scary looking as you are he probably felt better just leaving you alone......
I didn't think to remove the helmet. He probably woulda took off.
What day did you see the accident on 51? I passed one on Friday evening.
I believe it was Fri. Suv vs Pickup. Car got punched in the doors by a newer truck. Car was upside down in the ditch. Sundownish. On a hill and curve. Car skid marks were 90* to the direction of travel. That's what bewildered me. No cross roads or driveways in sight. Figured someone was trying to pass or something.
I kneed knew knee guards. the 50% gives me about a $20 savings over buying from EVS on Amazon. Saving money is saving money, but I can't save money I don't have right now
He was probably staring wondering how many kicks it would take ya.
Hope all those that were injured are well on their way to recovery
Let me tell ya, if it didn't start on the first kick that time I had my route picked out on where I was going to run my ass off into the woods.
I'll report one more delayed injury. What I thought was nasty skeeter bites, yeah....no, it's more like poison Ivy from hell. Site 150 can kiss my ass ! Um, on second thought....
Damn, that looks bad. Here's what I was using when I picked up a bad poison ivy rash last year. The only thing that really gave me any relief. Tecnu Extreme scrub.
That'll teach you to piss in the weeds behind your tent.
I hope he gave you a big hug before you left.
I hope it doesn't rub off on you while you're humping his leg.
Crazy hot shower and scrubbing with a washcloth worked ok for me and feels sooo good. Don't forget that oil will be on your clothes and shoes and socks and sleeping bag and just burn it all...
I'm not allergic to poison Ivy.
Maybe I can get a discount on site 150?
I did a load of laundry at the rally and re-washed my clothes once I got home. The wife had some free range potion made from crystals, coconut oil and zinc oxide or something that worked pretty good. Oh yeah the hot shower hurts so good! It's calming down now
I guess next time I'll just piss on someones tent. So next year if you're the only one who heard the rain storm last night , it wasn't me
Same here. I pissed behind Yetis tent 9 days straight, well, except for when he was squatting in the camper, then I pissed behind that.
I believe IceCold Dan had a similar issue with his off road excursion.
So what you are trying to say is that you would be the best person to be applying the ivy cure to Yeti's legs. Use caution! one wrong move and your a stastic. stay focused Steve-o.
