I think this is Sportster based. Not your average aluminum body.

I love the little multis Honda was making to challenge the big boys in the 60s.

A 50cc 4-stroke twin with gear driven cams, 4-valve heads, 15hp @ 20k rpm, 9m speed gearbox, and the whole thing weighs less than 50kg dry.

Won the championship in 1965 by winning 5 of 7 rounds.

Dual sport tires to go with the lowered suspension and no front fender
Super low clip ons with foot pegs in stock position to provide optimal ergos

Amazingly the frame is intact and the seat was never a skateboard... but maybe that will change when he gets around to adding a chain and tail light.

it looks good to me...I would ride it! The low bars and stock peg position actually should work on that bike. I too am glad he didn't chop the frame or put on a stupid flat seat. It's most of the way toward being a decent cafe bike. I like his choice in tires too, and I am way too old to be a hipster!

i cannot believe anybody would foist off that idiotic ,unsafe top triple tree .no clamp. lashup
cogidiot moto uses a single cotter to secure the upper fork tubes
not that multiple cotters would be better lol

yes a cotter like on an old bsa kicker lever or an old bicycle crank
it is simply impossible for it to have any where near the security that an actual correctly designed clamping lashup has especially when you consider it will just ruin the top of the tube mashing the threads in the tube and fork cap if you were to try to make it be somewhat secure
it just goes to prove having some machine tools does not make a motherfucker a designerfor you youngins thjs is a cottterd crank for a bicycle its a wedge forced into contact with nut pulling into interference ,nothing more or less
but at least the bicycle is using a locating slot to bed the cotter and it is all solid steel

the rim brakes ? i can imagine a team rider/racer being benched for causing any heat at all to be made by them.....im thinkin one false twitch and the pilot needs to row the shifter back 3 or seven cogs to stay on song, PINNED

Real cafe racers from the sixties. A world away from the modern perception of cafe racers
