Here's a picture of my 1980 Yamaha cafe triple. I bought it from a car lot back in 83, rode it for a while then did a frame up on it in about 86. It has a hand fabricated stainless steel exhaust. (that took a while) The fairing is from a FZ750. The rear swingarm has been milled and braced to fit a oversize rear tire. A friend of mine did the seat. ( I have his name and # if anyone would like it for custom seat work) It's been a fun bike and still a kick to ride. 2HE[IMG]

I Like to build Cafe style bikes and believe me when I say that there's a serious amount of Love in that baby.. Wouldn't have necessarily been my direction but that's a real beauty..

Oh and that red BSA isn't too shabby either..

<!-- message --> For those of you who like this bike check out Ebay. The guy selling it is a friend of mine and a VERY straight shooter. I've ridden with him up at Deals Gap and the bike runs a good as it looks.

This last bike was really well done, but the faux "manx" flyscreen with inlaid headlights really made me cringe:puke1

    Thanks Chuck!!

I've always thought that the first generation Virago would make a nice cafe bike. They've been raced in the past with some success. Hmmmmm........maybe a cafe/AHRMA bike is in my future.

Wow, that picture doesn't do the ACME bike justice. A couple of years ago they had an RC51 and a Duc 998 powered one (IIRC) at the Las Vegas Motorcycle auction and they were both orgasmic.
