Good call - Jubilee or Electra. With an early Dominator tank. Quite the Bitsa!
Repops are available in fiberglass...
Fiberglass tank replicas make great bucks for shaping them in aluminum.
I noticed the fibreglass jelly mould Ducati tank is over 400 dollars. An aluminum tank, $$$$.$$.
Yes, and the oil tank too. I've never seen one in the flesh, I don't think they came here.
Up on Fleabay UK. £11K custom build complete with £50 Fauxlins. Yours for a bargain £7.5K
I passed on a great deal on one of these years back!
And a great deal of these passed by me in years back!
I always loved the whistling sound that the Kawasaki's fours made. You could always tell when one was riding up, my 83 GPZ1000 sounded great with the Supertrap 4into1 pipes. Unlike any other UJM!
Curious how much gas this thing holds, and where that tiny tank is hidden.
If I had a dollar for every time I did that...I would have a lot of dollars!
I thought the same thing. I assume it's ridden to bike meet-up, shown off and ridden home. The workmanship is really amazing.
My 79 GS1000 with open Kerker politely disagree. Lol.
Article states... 4.8gal and its "hidden" in plain sight.
If you want a whistle , get a Turbo. 1986 Harris / Kawasaki on B.A.T.
Hard to imagine that with all that effort, there wasn't a way to hide the shock reservoir under the seat/tail cowling.
