Hey! I said no cameras in my garage please! Good thing the door to the race bike shop was locked.

....then I heard mom saying, wake up, it's time for school....

I never knew there was an 1100, or am I being faked out by that tail section graphic ?

They had 4 individual barrels for the 850cc and 1000cc upgrades, but the 1100 used a 1-piece cylinder assembly. Don't know if that was a factory or aftermarket kit.

I do like a bit of Deco, this I think is the third from Kingston customs
It has a bottle of wine and corkscrew under the tank and compartment for tools and silver pickernick gear.

It is rideable, would'nt want to try to turn it round in a narrow road though. I like the fact that people build these things, it is really the art deco ones I like, some of the other out there 'art' builds do really suck.

There's a difference between a skilled designer trying something "way out," and someone who uses aesthetics as an excuse for inadequately researched engineering and poor fabrication skills.

To me, the Britten V1000 stands out for combining innovative and execution with purposeful aesthetics. Even after 25 years, it still looks fast sitting still. It ran as good as it looks, and it looks right.

Agreed. But I like it much more when I'm not trying so hard to ignore the fluorescent pink. Or matte blue exhaust pipes, for that matter.

Imagine if Britten were alive today, where he would have taken motorcycles...

Yeah he had an amazing ability to "think outside the box" both in defining the problem and the solution.

You see why this is worth £15K!!!!! :hmmmmm

For sale is this custom cafe racer based off of a 2005 Honda CB600F Hornet, named 'Cuckoo' after the infamous cuckoo wasp, that has taken over a year to build, and comes with some unique eco-friendly features as well as a lot of custom fabrication and parts.

    Eco-friendly features:

    • It has a plant-based/animal-free cork leather seat (with a removable cowl for passengers) and hand grips made in collaboration with the fantastic guys at Corkor
    • The custom fuel tank badges and Quadlock phone mount were laser-cut out of second-hand aluminium off-cuts (spare material from the most eco-friendly metal available)
    • The decals on the motorbike and AGV Helmet were produced from spare off-cut PVC-free 3M vinyl
    • It has been calculated that this bike will produce just under 23 tonnes of Co2 over the course of 1,000,000 kilometres, so the builder has donated to a charity called Team Trees in order to help plant over 100 trees to offset this, essentially making the bike “carbon-neutral” for that distance

But does it still pass emissions, Mr. Eco Warrior?
