This is a homebrew of sorts as well. Magni never made a frame for the Triumph/BSA triple. Looks neat, must be German.

Don't know if this is a race bike or not, but what's with that filler cap?

I fail to see why these vague facsimiles of a classic bike are posted in 'Olds Cool'.

The Marzocchi forks/Brembo brakes/Veglia gauges were liberated from a Ducati 500GTL, and were wonderful. The rest of the GTL was mediocre at best, about as fast as a CB350 or 450. I remember setting the points on it, in a recessed cavity, like at the bottom of a soup can.

That engine was such a weird design - here's a picture of the 180 degree crankshaft - note no center main bearings, just heaps of iron. And just for fun, the camshaft had a sprocket in between the cylinders, but the the chain was driven by a gear-driven jackshaft behind the cylinders.

Ducatis should have bevel drive, cam belt drive, pushrods, even pull-rods, but not cam chains.

:scratch This thread/forum is Cafe Racer Pics, not Old Cool, or am I missing something?

Old's Cool, for Old Bikes, not 'modern' bikes reinterpreted.
