Hoping this is just a warning shot of what's to come as well but I don't think we're going to get as lucky as last fall.

    And so the weekend begins....

By Sunday this may look a bit whiter. I wish the entrants and spectators the best at EuClair this weekend. The hot beverage vendors should do well.

Me I have a couple of cars that need oil changes waiting in the garage. Seems a good day for it.

Saint Mary Montana is supposed to get 120 centimeters of snow this weekend. In American, four feet.
Going to the sun road anyone?

I just returned from California but came up the highway 97 through Osoyoos , holed up in Enderby as the weather looks better mid week.

Valves are not that hard I have always done my own, (950 990 1190 now 1090) I found it is much easier to dismantle everything including removing the radiator, it can be done without the rad removed but it is a pain. Buy a shim kit there not that expensive

Paulson summit this morning (between Castlegar and GrandForks) and I can see the snow level at around 3000 feet, I'm in the west kootenays now but on the upside the weather is supposed to be more seasonable by Mon. Tue. Glad I opted out of signing up for the KTM Rally this weekend in Rossland

Might be cheaper to rent a truck and come home versus stay in a hotel until the roads are passable. I know a guy with a pickup with an 8' box and a ramp.

Caught the RedBull enduro prologue event yesterday at Eau Claire. The snow made for treacherous conditions on the wood structures. Total mayhem for the amateur class but the pro/expert class still made it look easy. Fun time!

Even the expert group were having a tough time with this section.

Not sure what the hell this is, but my kid and his friend thought it was awesome.

Hey pwoderzone, that's a Volvo Sugga body on what appears to be a Dodge 4x4 chassis.
Red Bull has a couple like that for promo vehicles. The Sugga is really rare so it could be a replica body

Went for a chilly run over Highwood Pass hoping for impressive snow banks. One degree on top but disappointing snow (I expected more).

Picture taken with my new cell phone which isn't horrible. How's that for a camera review of the Motorola G7?
