Ya I noticed that. It's difficult standing on my head to look at a kijiji ad.
just turn the monitor upside down.
Figured I’d risk the wind and go for a ride tonight. It was actually a nice night. Wind died down and it stayed warm for my little 100km loop. No complaints. Just happy not shoveling snow.
Also out for a ride today, but we got hit with the full force of the wind. Still, it was a good ride.
A little lunch & ride after meeting at The Chuck Wagon restaurant in Turner Valley.
So I clicked on this thread by accident, I'm from the Manitoba section.
Damn, in the only three posts I see on this page. I assume not only do you of course have much nicer country. (knew that)
But damn. Y'all have much nicer bikes as well!
We allow visitors and don't have a secret password. I Check in on the Winnipeg section all the time as I lived there for25 years and have friends and family there.
You should add a picture of your new ride to your post. Not many Guzzis V 85 around here that I have seen.
That's the one. Came with 2 side cases as well. Never had hard luggage, and they are slick. My boy feels a bit more secure with something behind him when we head out. Side note...those crash bars were 92 bucks?
Never had crash bars. But for 92 bucks why not!
Beautiful bike, you should paint the crash bars red
Noooooooo! Not sure about that one lol.
Another fun day out on the 300 in the Kookanusa. Conditions were perfect. 12C and sunshine.
Nice mix of technical and grassy single track.
riding partner @Dragonman
mellow single track
It certainly was.
Cheers for the ride!
Didn't see but a handful of bikes all day yesterday west of the city.
Time grows short for 2019's weekends. A few nice days during the week coming. Sadly for me they will go to waste. Use em if you have the chance. Look to next weekend forecast if you need motivation.
Working, the curse of the riding class!
I was out and about in the late afternoon south of town. Man those green lanes are butt-clenching slippery right now.
Going through pictures of bikes I used to own. This was my favorite before the KTMs came along.
I took this picture in Winnipeg back in 1986.
Let's see your past favorite.
Not a dual sport but definitely more fun in winter. Build was based on a ‘13 KTM 450 sxf. Bored out to 520, high compression piston, port/polished head, 6 spd, megabomb exhaust and Nitrous. 100hp on the bottle. It was insane! Wish I’d kept it.
Nice snow bike ....but nicer wood working shop, I built wooden boats in my shop for 30 years. I dont see any dust on the floor!
If anyone has a SO who is on the smaller side (size 7 or so), there is a guy on Kijiji that has some nice Klim gear for sale. A friend picked up the men's stuff last night but he still has the ladies stuff and the Schuberth C3 helmet. I understand that he is out of town until next week though.
Sweet bike. I can honestly say That very bike is the one that got me addicted to motorcycles! I can still remember the sweet smell of two stroke exhaust, aahhh!
How are you doing? I hope you are still riding this season buddy!
