The first Alberta Dual Sport (Calgary) ride had about 20 riders out. The last? ride of the year was just Chris and myself. Here's some pics.

Richard's Road - there were about 20 of these mud/ice/water holes we had to cross. The mud turned out to be quite firm - so no problemo.

Normally, I'd be standing...but the icey part of it was spooky.

These are wild - slowed us down for a few minutes. A Calgary 1150GSA rider nailed a deer at 80 kph last weekend and......ouch. He'll be OK.

My map says this the road to Water Valley???

Humpf....The worst thing in dual sport is having to back-track!!

But with roads like this - it isn't so bad.

We got back to Calgary at dusk....a great end to a 16,000 km summer for me.....well I still haven't washed my bike.......

Oh sure only after I move away from Camore AB do I find people to ride with there, moved up to Quesnel BC, but might be moving to Lethbridge next summer.
