I have only needed to put fuel in my 2009 F650GS a couple of times but the nozzel on the gas pump pushes against the fuel cap on my 2009 F650GS. If I try to push the nozzel in the tank it looks like it could break the fuel cap.

The Fuel Cap does no open all the way, but opens only to a 90 degree angle to the tank, which appears to be the reason why the gas nozzel and the cap are so tight.

Is anyone else in California (our states' environmental laws cause us to have very large fuel nozzels) experiencing the same issue?

    Thanks

Hold the rubber boot (foreskin as some call it) back away from the gas cap.

It's a pain. Spilled gas all over the first time.

The gas station guy showed me how to pull the thing back. Problem is, I wasn't able to fill it up. About 1/2 gal short. I'll figure it out.

Yeah the McCuff works awesome, not just in California but in every State on every bike I think. I use it and love it.
