Yesterday was great day in the Adventure Republic wandering around Kaivah wilderness, lots of trails I haven't explored so close to home. I crossed over the PCT a few times marking the water caches in the GPS justin case, I wonder if there's going to be a boom of hikers coming through this spring since last year was a bust.

I’d never heard of the Kiavah Wilderness that’s cool. I need to get up your way and go explore the Southern Sierras! When are the best times to go?

The PCT runs thru my area of work and I’ve yet to see a new influx or people Yet. The thru-hikers need to time their southern border start with the weather & permit season of the JMT etc.

    Nice Finn,
Know that area extremely well, so much is closed off than what it used to be though, still some challenging trails. The OLD AT&T tower pic has some good hill climbs. Check out SC65, takes you up to McIvers cabin, nice ride.

Yeah I do see a lot of barriers and closed trails for sure. I made it up the sandy climb in the photo but didn't turn left there for the final rocky climb to the tower, that is certainly not something I could ride an adventure bike up! :lol3

Thanks for the heads up I'll check out SC65, would love to find that cabin!

Yesterday I went back through there, (before I read your post) :doh up to 6800' in the Piute's where there was no snow, only ice in the shade. Wandered through Jawbone, then power line roads to 58 and up bodfish caliente home.

Another great day in the California Adventure Republic, some out of this world sights!

Here's some questionable riding in the Greenhorn Mountains - no music, no talking, no BS YouTube followers to sell ads for someone else - just another video for ADVrider.com worth about what you paid for it.:beer
