Check out Countdown's private library on GPSXchange.com. Also check out the California forum there. Tons of tracks.

You should do some searching before whining about people not sharing.

I maybe missing something very obvious, but where do you actually download the tracks on the above linked forum?

When you go to GpsXchange.com you MUST register but you don't need to actually post a file to download any of Countdowns thousands of tracks half way down home page in Private Libraries.

If you haven't been there in a while, he totally reorganized it to make it more user friendly to find the area you are interested in. I have long threads for 1) down the eastern Sierra from north of Reno to Ridgecrest, 2) down the western Sierra from Lassen to Tehachapi, 3) all of Mojave desert to the Colorado 4) Statewide systems for CA, NV, AZ-NM, UT, CO, ID and on and on.

If you do some variation of his tracks and your own exploration, etc. , please repost your version both here and there.

Stoked 550, did you ever look at this site? It has every road and trail in National Forests that you ask about in Sierras, West Side..

I have a good route from Nevada City to Downieville that is as much dirt as possible and suitable for a big adventure bike. Although the last time I led a BMW R1200GS rider through there he wanted to stay on the pavement the rest of the way back. :lol3

If you're still interested, contact me and I can send you the file. Meanwhile, I'll go explore gpsxchange.com.
