About time Jim got a Pro rider on one! Best of luck to them!
Gold Carbonfiber air box spring mod, keeps it from slipping upward, before /after
Good idea, my goldie has always had a very loose air filter. I much prefer the Gasser bolt in air filter.
At first, gave the spring a stronger bend, and was checking it, all fine. But today, the filter had popped ajar from the bottom, it was not off , no air opening, but was enough to go at the spring again. Also a bend to get the spring to go strait at the pin, then add a bit more tension.
I must have just missed the cut again........
I feel your pain.
I've heard Nigel Parker is on TRS as well. Dunno if it's a sponsored ride or not
On his Facebook it says it is same team as Roper?
From his own post: Excited to be apart of the TRS Motorcycles USA family for 2021 Excited for the new adventures this bike and team will take me on Dirt Riders West TRS Motorcycles Factory.
Does anyone have a clue what this coating is? My bike is exhibiting symptoms of an air leak. I pulled the reeds to check the gasket and found this substance with some edges lifting on it. I started pealing the loose stuff away.
Being on only one side of the case I would bet some kind of gasket sealer/glue. I used to use gasgacinch alot. That is my guess.
It was on both sides, it cleanly pealed off the right side.
For the Symptoms , you did try running it with out the gas cap.
Just on the inside.
i have not. It is a bit random and I need a way to keep gas from splashing everywhere
I would do away with the guts of the gas cap before searching for a leak. It has happened on several bikes.
It would be nice to be able to just take the check valve out without destroying the cap.
Edit: that was easy. It just pulls apart.
Are your Scorpa gas cap threads the same?
Is that coating just in the intake port or is it inside the crankcase as well ?
