I think some times people mix up the wording. Duty and taxes are not the same but often get used interchangeably.

Agreed. HST is what often is mistaken as Duty.

Pay them federal duties otherwise they may go broke before my upcoming retirement.:lol3

I should have looked better last time I installed one of their tires on the big K but I think that took an hour and out the door by 10.00AM. They do come through Parts Canada.

I bought Gaerne boots and socks from them in early 2012, when no local dealer had what i wanted. It was a totally satisfactory experience. I will shop there again.

They told me at the time that there was no duty on motorcycle parts. I live about 70 km from the border, and there is a place there that acts as a holding area...you pay about 2 bucks per item when you pick it up.

I live in a city now, so buy from the local dealership.

I have used this site for my helmet, and gloves. It was fast shipping and when i needed to return my helmet (i ordered a size off) it was a very easy return, however they did charge 7$ restocking but paid for the return shipping and emailed me a label, i just had to box it back up and drop it off at shoppers.

I got my money refunded like a week later.

Canada's Motorcycle is my first stop when looking for new gear.

Prices are comparable with the US.
    Shipping is fast and reliable.
    NO duties or BS.

Excellent service with returns and such.

Their prices are great, but I find it hard to navigate through all the street stuff to find the few dual sport/adv specific items.....

Decided to check out their prices, comparing not all stuff I've run across, but just recent purchases across the internet. I noted their pricing on my newly obtained Shoei RF1100 runs 34% more through Canada Motorcyclestore, taking into consideration credit card cross border surcharge, and current weaker Cdn $ as of Dec 1st,,,,,that's enough to make me lose my attention.
I can certainly understand the need for this store for those who live say 100 miles away from the border, but for those residing closer, it really is still a mighty deal down south.
