Here Phil talks about how I'm likely to have problems riding in truck ruts with a sidecar rig. He warms me that the cold shattered most of his plastic including his face shield. Waiting for a road crew to get through snow drifts. The cylinder on the wind exposed side of his BMW boxer stopped firing in the cold...

Hi Spice. In 07 I didn't use anything and the bike did get some corrosion over the winter. In 08 I've been using something called ACF-50 anti-corrosion formula. I got it from my Ural dealer. It's a spray can that sprays foam that turns into a coating of oil. Just spray everything down with it. I don't seem to be getting much corrosion since I've started using it. But... it is after all a Ural, not a 68 vette, so I'll not worry about it too much and paint it with a roller when it starts to look really bad.
