Gray Tools as well. Long time Canadian company that still makes most of their tools in Brampton, Ontario. However, I do have a pair of Gray branded pliers that show made in Germany. The impact sockets, torx driver bits and allen wrenches I have show made in Canada https://shopgraytools.com/
I like their products but as a Canadian buying from a Canadian company why do I get charged in US dollars ?
I realize that but I still get charged in USD, cut and paste from their website. "Camel ADV Products process all orders in USD. While the content of your cart is currently displayed in CAD, you will checkout using USD at the most current exchange rate."
I purchased a set of paddle board plans and some hardware from Sliver SUPS in Vancouver BC. I was charged in $ US . I called the guy and complained saying I though he was Canadian, his comment was all his sales are in the US, very little in Canada, so he uses $US!
Seagull Guitars. http://www.seagullguitars.com/ Made in Quebec and some very nice guitars. Although I got one shipped from Illinois to Halifax including a Trix hard case, all cheaper than buying the thing local. That's pretty sad.
Ah yes - I'm familiar with Godin, they have a factory in Qc that straddles the US border - where they have another factory to assemble guitars. I always assumed it was to get around import duties or somesuch for US sales. I will add them to the list.
Elka Suspension Sadly, they no longer seem to make motorcycle shocks. I had one of theirs on my F800GS, thought it was great.
Heated gear made i Saskatchewan from Freedom Heated Clothing Awesome customer service as mentioned In September
I sell Reflective Decals & my prices are in US dollars as that is where 99% of my sales are (links in my sig)
