Actually, I'm nursing a broken leg. Cuz, like, I don't play well.

I'm not making any plans yet for 2011, just making sure that you are. :rofl

Ouch! I hope you were making us proud when you did that.

I need to start working on that. The "nawthun" riding season is coming up fast.

The DRZ and I fell off the Cumberland Plateau at the end of a great day of dirt riding the banjo country of southern TN. Well, a great day except for the broken leg thing. Don't worry, the DRZ is fine.

As a budding Dual Sporter, what kind of tires should I be looking into? I have a F650gs that is getting new shoes this spring and I am currently leaning towards D606's but thought I would see what you guys like for the MI sandbox. I want to split my riding roughly 60/40 On/Off.

I ran 606s a lot in the past and they were fine for general use.

I don't think you'll want to be pushing much sand with that particular bike though.

Tires don't matter to Cannshot....I followed him on one CannonRide thru the mud/sand/snow/leaves/rocks/water/gravel, and he did the whole thing on the stock deathwings!!!

The man is a ninija on a bike...never saw him slow down for anything. :eek1

Please count me in on the rides this summer. I didn't read the whole thread but would certainly like to join the Cannon Trek if that's on the table. Thanks!

I would be interested in a couple weekends too. Since I still planning to do the route you mapped out through WI, MI & UP in late May I might take the rest of summer to recover, but I am still optimistic here in March. I would also fall into the less experienced groups if/when you plan on those trips.

I'd like to join in. I'll take the slower easier options. Weekends or weekdays will work with planning.

Just hit the send button for two ORV stickers.

Now how about some spring weather, so I can start all the bike maintenance I promised to do, but never did this winter.

    Cheers
