Over the past few years we've been working to get new OHM trails in Wisconsin. One of those trail projects, the Tamaracks OHM trail near Conover in Vilas County (WI), is nearing completion. I maintain an extensive catalog of GPS guided DS/ADV paths in that area. To make it easier for riders that visit the Tamaracks who may also want to ride some DS/ADV while they are in the area, I re-homed a number of tracks to the parking lot there. There is also a campground at the trailhead. The idea of re-homing the tracks is that riders can start and end at the Tamaracks and have information about distances and gas intervals as well. There are about 2,100+ miles of tracks re-homed there. I'll list the rides and post the GPX files in this thread.

Here is an overview of the tracks I re-homed there to date.

This is a sporty rolling and winding paved path that is good on any bike. Always a good out and back ride. Nice corners. 25 miles each way.

These are awesomesauce. My wife and I (2 up) are planning on doing either the NHAL path or the Boulder-Woodruff path this summer. Any sandy sections I should be aware of? What do the words in Orange mean (Chimey, Boat Wash, Cathedral Point)?

Waypoints are usually points of interest.

A little sand on the NHAL but nothing too difficult.

The NHAL is a very popular ride - the most popular in that region. Most people ride the Eagle River start point version, but it doesn't matter too much.
