Just finished up a small group CannonTrek in Idaho. Took in some nice riding, points of interest, and a modified version of the Idaho Backcountry Discovery Route (IDBDR). Visited some interesting places along the way and (as usual) I'll share some history and stories from the past. I'll also share a GPS file (see bottom of this post) that covers our trip that may be of use to others. We spent about two weeks on the trip with about eight days of that on the BDR related portion. Plenty of great scenery along the way. Druid Doctor Zed This guy from My Classic Car was in the area making a TV show. You can bump the settings to 1080 on these videos. Rather than wait until we get to the BDR portion in the ride report, let me take a moment now to thank the BDR folks for their excellent offering with the IDBDR. I scout and share a lot of routes myself and can appreciate the time, effort, and expense that goes into this kind of sharing. I deeply appreciate their work and really enjoyed riding it. Any changes I made for this trip only had to do with my interests that led me to plan some off-route options. I'm sure it was difficult for the BDR folks to arrive at a single offering since they had so much great riding to choose from. Anyway, huge thanks to all that contributed to publishing this path. I hope we can offer some detail about our experiences that will encourage more riders to enjoy this route themselves. Downloaded 1642 times from previous personal site.
