Just reading a forum on horizonsunlimited that carnets are no longer required anywhere inn the Americas, is this true? Anyone any recent experience?

Hey buddy, it's true. I've spent the past 9 months riding from the US through: Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina- soon heading to Paraguay, Brasil and Uruguay- no carnet required! Head south and have fun! Dave.
