My wife had an F650 for a couple of years, very fun bike; ran and handled decent and got good fuel mileage.
Worth getting if you want a play bike or a spare.

A lot to unpack here, and his mysterious wording makes it a bit more ambiguous, but not seeing anything to justify that price

While that’s not “fully restored” by any stretch of the imagination, that’s murray’s VM34 carb kit, 650 forks, wheels, and rotor, and a 650 motor. It’s a very good place to start. 650 parts are uncommon and the 500 looks better, so this could eventually be a nice combo. The beefier forks, fork brace, rotor, and the 2-piston caliper are a very nice handling upgrade as well.

At $1500 I’d say it was a deal. $2000 acceptable. All it really needs is that hokey red powercoat blasted off, a battery box, and a seat cover. But a 3 large asking price is stupid for the half-done bike he’s got.

That fake parody listing is a buddy of mine getting me back for a Craigslist prank I pulled on him 6 months ago. Yes, yes I do deserve it.

Anyhow, the bike is also posted in classifieds and is really for sale lol.
