I also got two mounts. One on the GSA, one on the 690.

But the second one I had to order and pay for when I bought a controller for my son as a graduation present. :norton

Spray a little silicon lube on the mount to make it easy to take the controller off and on.

I just ordered a CI pad and remote and going through this thread I found you were almost pissing your pants back in april. I would also like to almost piss my pants but I can't find any follow up posts about the pant-pissing feature of the new app? Could you enlighten us?

I'm not certain, but I think that was about the time that CI and Thork Racing formally partnered and Thork took on the retail side of the CI product line. Thork Racing is the author of Drive Mode Dashboard (DMD) that the CI Pad uses as its launcher.

Happy with my CI Pad and Terrain command controller.
I sold my Garmin device and turn to Android, much more versatile.

I received my CI controller yesterday. Installed it on my Nomu S10 rugged phone. Seemed to go flawless. But the toggle switch doesn't seem to do much. It works on the drive mode app, but when I open Osmand or google maps, only the 2 seperate buttons work. For Osmand it means I can zoom in and out and go to the Hud, but the toggle switch has no function at all. I can't scroll over the map. In the Hud I can use the toggle switch for scrolling to and selecting the button.

Has anyone experienced the same problem, maybe in combination with the Nomu S10.

Other question: is the CIdriver intergrated in the CI controller app. Do you install it while installing the CI controller app?

I can't offer any advice on why your "toggle switch" doesn't function with your Nomu or what to do about it, all I can say is that mine works with my Nomu S10. Scrolls around the map and when pressed centers the map on my cursor. It is very sensitive though, so much so that I don't try to use it much when moving.

I have a question with the HUD display, how do I get out of it? I have no idea how to get into it either except that I sometimes get it to pop up by accident and then can not get it to go away so I can use my GPS (phone).

Thanks a lot, I'll try that. Biggest problem will be trying to remember it, I'm a long time computer guy but I learned most of what I know by trial and error, more error that trial to be honest.

Since I'm still waiting for mine I'm not speaking from experience but did you follow the Guide all the way through? There seem to be a few settings on your device you may need to tweak.

There may also be a setting in Osmand that tells it to use an external device. I know for instance that Locus Maps has such setting called Hardware Controller

Tried the settings in Osmand (parrot, WunderLink, etc) but no effect. It doesn't work on Google maps also, and sometimes the Drive mode dashboard and hub refuse also.

I made a ticket on the Thork racing website.

Problem solved. After a factory reset on the Nomu and reinstalling the apps, the controller is now working fine.

@Carpe Iter or @John@ThorkRacing - Any news on when my CI Pad will ship? There is no indication of a change in status on the website.

    Thanks.

@kubcat on their FB page they are stating sales quadrupled unexpectedly in december so deliveries are delayed by end of January due to restocking.

    Hope that answers your question.

    Cheers

    Hi guys
I was not aware about this thread. I´m bookmarking it now.
And yes at the moment there are big delays with shipping out the orders, we had a HUGE increase in the order number, at least 4x times more and we are doing our best to adjust production.
