It is my understand that a file photo is a photo taken at a previous date and stored on your computer. File Photos are used in the Richmond VA Commuter Tag for setting a tag but not claiming a tag. I personally feel that you should have to ride out there for both, or preferably grab one on your way back to eliminate the turn around time.

As far as boundaries go, I think we can be lax due to WV right on the other side of the mountain.

I feel this tag should be light-hearted and open for comments/chatter...just as long as tags are getting taken/placed.

We may have to call it Gimmeslack, Skippii, HNinja Tag-O-Rama !

I'm hoping my friend in Staunton will join in as well.
We could make this really interesting by combining it with a Geocache.
Like...a package of handwarmers left at the locations.
Damn, that was a cold ride this morning.

A geocache would be cool. Improving on that could be something we perpetually move from tag to tag - like an ADV sticker on a rock etc. It will be pointed to or posted in the tag photo for you to find and then bring to the tag you place.

    Just an idea.

Except that the correct term for "swing to the right" is Gee.
Haw is used for "swing to the left".

At least according to my copy of "The Draft Horse Primer" and as confirmed by Ed (in photo). :deal

    Well, shit.:baldy
I just realized I did leave a cache. Doubt anyone is interested in it, but at the exact location I think there is an almost full pack of Camels. :baldy :bmwrider :bmwrider :bmwrider

"Go right to the source and ask the horse.
He'll give you the answer that you'll endorse.
He's always on a steady course.
    Talk to Mister Ed."

Is anyone off work Tuesday for Veterans Day? I may go for a dual-sport ride or put on my new handlebars/bark busters. Lunch anyone?

Uh, thats "GEE" and "HAW". GEE, right turn. HAW, left turn. Once upon a time I drove single, double, unicorn and four in hand carriage horses, and for a bit I drove the worlds largest team of Red Devon Oxen. Universal commands used for all draft animals, including sled dogs.

YEHAW: Term 0f enthusiasm expressed south of the Mason Dixon line, usually right after the request of "here, hold my beer".

:waveWell I see a lot of brainstorming going on, but where is the tag?
File photos keep the game moving and the enthusiasm level high.
We found it necessary to add territory to slow the game down!
A "dirt" dual sport game with a movable object sounds interesting.
Keep the creative juices flowing. :slurp

Should we be putting ride info, tag-along-tags, and such in this thread to keep the Tag thread from getting too cluttered?

So, meeting at my house in 45 minutes, HBN?
I'll get off work a bit early - call me at work until 7, then at home.

Looking at the forecast looks like I will be doing a Blakey Ridge fire road run early tomorrow. Anybody game?

I am also hoping to get out for a little while this weekend if the boss doesn't have to much for me to do! :rolleyes
