I just bought a Cateye enduro 8 speedo and am trying to figure out how to set the odometer. The instructions tell you to hold the mode button for 2 seconds after you select mph or kph. Well after I select mph it skips straight to the wheel circumference calibration. Holding the mode button here only scrolls through the sizes. I searched on google and couldn't find anything like it. One of the reasons I bought it is because of the settable odometer but it looks like it may not really do that...

Anybody else ever have this problem or know how to fix it?

The way I read the instructions:

Hold the MODE button for 2 seconds.

    then

If you want the ODO set to 0- press ST/STOP

Otherwise, press MODE to increase the number

    and

ST/STOP to move to the next decimal place.

    then

Press the set button on the back.

You said when I hold the button it scrolls through the sizes.

Maybe, your holding it too long?
