Here are a few pics taken from the ~highlands of Cebu looking ~westward towards Negros Island. My 08 WR250 Husqvarna dirtbike is sitting at 4 different locations over a time-frame of ~15 minutes in the first 4 locations and an ~hour time length at the final location.

From pic 1 to the last one, the clouds and rain changes noticeably, making it very possible that I might get wet but first, the rains here are somewhat warmer than in the states where I am from and there are numerous small structures close by I can take shelter under. Rains\showers come and go here very quickly\often so there are small shelters all over the place here.

    LOC #1.

Hard to see but that land mass across the water is Negros.

Rain becoming more obvious in center here.

Mt. Manunggal is the tilted peak in the furthermost mountain range here.

Mount Manunggal is the highest mountain in the island of Cebu located in Barangay Magsaysay in Balamban, Cebu province, rising 3,599 feet above sea level. It is the site of the crash of the presidential plane Mt. Pinatubo which killed President Ramon Magsaysay and twenty-four others on March 17, 1957.

Probably looking more to the south\south west here.

Mt. Manunggal again in the extreme left side of the pic for a reference.

Little more showering becoming apparent now just across that first ridge-line

This graded area is gonna be the new site of a school.

At the same time this is rain and clouds are moving across the islands from the west, here is a shot looking to the east. That's Camotes Islands in the distance.

Here's the rain proceeding to cover the final ridge-land between myself and the on-coming rains

    Mt Manunggal becoming engulfed.

This view is a little more westward, showing the edge of the front on this end.

LOC #3 -- A little more south of the previous location

Rain is a closer and falling harder and the clouds are looking more menacing ..

Little better quality pics here due to the lighting for my ~quality S.korean cell camera. Only about ~5 minutes has passed in real time.

These twin peaks are little to the S\SE in relation of the direction of most of the previous pics, just a reference point of weather front progress across the island.
    20200630_143327.jpg

That's Mt. Manunggal as another reference point in relation to this front passing from the west, heading eastward.

Looking a little back S\SW towards the oncoming front.

These are pretty rough, tough bikes with their own personalities plus have Italian-made styling... The (300cc versions) won and podiumed extreme enduros a few yrs back around the world at the top-tier levels. I'm amazed at this 08 model still runs as well as it does with all the abuse, both good, bad, and ugly, it has taken over the yrs here. But on the same hand, I see many many much older 2t bike around here, both street and trail being ridden.

The Philippines is really a raw place in many ways and in many areas\locations. Everyday for the first 5-6 yrs when I first arrived here, was just amazing... Seeing a society fit together and operate in such a contrasted way as compared to the USA, was just mind boggling to me by the minute each day. It's still very interesting each day\ride here except now I have a clue on what is happening. It would be a disappointment, not impossible, if I had to conform back into a 1st world type citizen now.

Today, I'm witnessing the mountains here actually progressing into a place where a real transportation system is starting to exist for many of the country folks. This is weird itself.

This is about the height of this weather ... Not sure but maybe the highest ridgline on Cebu trapped\blocked this rain from its' N/Western trek?

These next few shots show the weather front dissipating
