Thanks for sharing Bo. 2018-2019, I had a WR250R, TE450 and my old F650GS in my shop but didn't ride off-road. I sold all those bikes, last year and bought a Tiger 1200 XCx. I hope you're well and I get to ride with you sometime, this year.

I was looking back to see when the last time I did one and it was 2/1/18 when you I did some tree hopping on the big bikes.

I am still able to ride so I reckon I am doing fine, Nathan. I am sure we will run into each other somewhere or if you want to meet up sometime, just holler.

I am sneaking up on 70, Phil, and I am not getting any stronger so I have been downsizing.

I replaced the Husky 501 with a 300 XCW. It is only about 30 pounds lighter but it is enough to make a difference on the gnarly stuff. I took it to Colorado in September. The lighter weight and the low down grunt of the 300 made it easier to ride on the single track trails.

I really liked my 1190 but I tended to take it on trails by my lonesome that maybe I should not have. Even though I never dropped it, there was always that concern in the back of my mind that I might get in a situation where I could not pick it up. I bought the 690 with the idea of keeping the 1190 at first. I pretty much converted it back to a road bike but found I was not riding it much. Most of my riding nowadays does not include much time on pavement. I pretty much leave the house and ride 15 miles or so to get into the Ozarks. With the Lynx fairing I have on the 690, it is certainly tolerable for longer stints on the highway. I just cannot revert back to my sport bike riding days and go ripping around like I could on the 1190. So to make a long story short, I sold the 1190 back in October.
