    is the russian you learned the same russian they speak in the those far eastern former soviet countries? just curious if it difficult or if there are dialects.

    Yes, we expected that it could be little cold in the last days of Sept. And it was, not too cold, but it was below 0 C during the night. I mean on high altitude. Near Afganistan it was pretty warm about 28 C. The same near Issyk Kul and Uzbekistan.
    Central Asia is dream land for adv bikers because it is dry in the summer and weather is stable.
