We understand how life gets in the way when the riding season ramps up. Good luck with your projects. I am chained to many myself, as well.
Hope to meet up with you sometime again, Solo.

Looks like a deep subject; Water, Water, Water every where!

I just got off the phone dealing with my DSL/landline provider. We keep losing speed then it locks up. I am sure there is moisture in the wired box before it gets to cable. But they say it is good with their tests.

Thanks for the new tracks. I am working more of them into my TiAT tracks. Does the track down from Pittsfield to Hardin have more gravel/dirt than the track back up? Also, which one has the viaduct (?) that was in the photo's from the ride?

Hi there all. Just thought I’d introduce myself since I’m in the area. I live in Bloomington/Normal and I have a Suzuki GS500 and a 1980 Honda XL185S. Hopefully someday I’ll have something in between so I could participate in some Illinois style dual sport riding. In any case, if there are any street rides in the Bloomington area or any dirt rides without much highway time, I’d love to check it out. Feel free to message me if you’re in the area and would like to ride sometime.

I lived in Bloomington for about three years. I had a drz-400s and then eventually a KLR 650. I found a bunch of nice gravel and dirt public roads by finding the mackinaw river on google maps and following some of the more interesting looking roads. I now live in Galesburg, but would love to go back exploring over there now that I have gps.

We did Shannons 5 star before just off of the belt line. Good people, and food. Could meet up with BS83 again there sometime soon?

If the weather holds for us (although a light shower would clean the Indiana soils off), sounds good. I did look at the menu today, YUM. Solo, if you have to
"dine and dash", I may be into travelling a few miles west. Any other takers ?

You guys are awesome and got right to it. I'm going to have to check out those dirt roads by the Mackinaw...

The next couple Saturdays are out for me since I'll be heading up to North Central MN for some fishing, golfing, and riding the old Honda in the Paul Bunyan State Forest. It's an awesome place to ride up there. I'll probably get some new video this year again. Here's a link to my riding vids from a couple years ago...

Thought I would jump into this thread. I'm also a Bloomington local. New to the ADV/Dual Sport scene. Spent many years riding offload/mx. Picked up a KTM 950R this spring and looking for people to meet up with and ride. I'll keep an eye out for any group rides and maybe I can meet up.
