Let's see if there is more interest. Possible breakfast at JUNE BUG between Morton and E Peoria on old US150, which once was the local Norton, Matchless, AJS (?) and others. It seems like he also had a Spanish brand. I was young and just as dumb then as now... There are photo's etc. more about food than Moto! If people do not want to go that far, it is always possible to pick a location closer to you and others like
    Busy Corner
    302 S Eureka St, Goodfield, IL 61742 just off I 74 and US150

Also, Gary was going go to the races. We could key off his time frame, which will not be Russian... it:

I got a beer bottle broken over my head from that position.

Well, it seems that Shelb isn’t racing as it’s pro only, but I’ll still go. Breakfast and TT

Good man; well, and father! We can do it anyway you want. Since I do not know who all or where you guys will come from; we can meet in Peoria area for breakfast or I can ride your way and meet you guys .... I know 42 & VFR are approx. 90 mi SE of E Peorias and I am approx. 20 mi W of E Peoria. So speak up guys!
So, Because you all fly like a bird; I will reference Decatur is 64 as a crow fly's, Springfield is 60, Champaign is 75 mi, Jacksonville 74. Average this out to a 1.5 to 2 hour breakfast ride on early Saturday fo E Peoria. ????? for the next step!

SO! Will that be wife or family or just you? All are welcome!

Edit # 4: I have not seen any female riders post on this site, so I will change and add others to the post. So many directions; wait, there is Galesburg and beyond....

That works too! Busy Corner on Derby St, I think it is or could be Ernie's, serves a great breakfast. They are all easy for me... or? What time?

Just a heads up if any of you do go to Busy Corner in Goodfield. The ramp on I-74 is closed there so you'll have to come in on 150 or 117. I was just there the other day. Their pie is still amazing.

Goodfield or Pekin is ok with me. Times are easy for me too, but I’ll throw out 10:00AM. Everyone weigh in.

Never been to either one so I don’t have a preference. 10:00 sounds good.
So do you think we can get pie for breakfast?:dukegirl

Looks like awarren, vfrpilot, William42, and myself is it. Vfr and 42 are around the 1.5 -2 hour riding time to Pekin. I do not know awarren's location, maybe Champaign Urbana area, which is about the same.
I started above early today, but decided to wait till evening to post and got a few hits back. Jp5 can you join us for pie, I am buying!

It is an easy do for me and I would think for vfr & 42. (you know, I don't think he is 42; maybe a bit older! We know vfrpilot must be way younger, remembing the earlier photo; maybe even a bit... well you know!) :-)

I’m in. Just waiting for the plan to congeal.
Hey vfr, can we meet along the way somewhere? Or maybe I can ride with William starting in Champaign?

It appears that for all you Easterners 150 would be the main road to travel. (Don't much like Interstate) Easy enough for me to meet you all in Farmer City. Give me a time and place and I'll be there.

According to Google Maps, if we take Rt 150 to Rt 9, we need to leave Casey's by 8:15-8:20
if we go Rt 136 to Rt 29, need to leave by 8:30

My personal preference would be the first option just because 136 looks boring as hell.

I may have a friend tag along on a..... Harley

Route 150, please. I’ll be there by 8 unless you want to meet earlier?

Screen Shot 2019-08-15 at 5.52.02 PM.png Just west of Bloomington where 150 and 9 splits, Old Peoria road starts going WNW threw Danvers. Continue on Old Peoria road towards Conley. King road is just before Conley turn rt on King going N. Take King to Rager road, turn left W on Rager crossing the Mackinaw River and a quick right onto Zimmerman N. Continue N on Zimmerman to Martin road, which goes to the 74 crossover and Busy Corner. Screen Shot 2019-08-15 at 5.49.14 PM.png
