26K on it. Looks like most of its life has been on road, but you can neve really tell. If it was that is all going to change.

Copied this frome the JM post, but here are the accessories I noticed on it so far.

Lots of cool parts added on already,

    Black Jesse's
Bungee Buddies on the bags (not sure if these are staying)
    Power outlet
Kevlar MC cover for rear brake
    Center Stand
Bill Mayer Custom Saddle (this may be up for trade, not sure if it fits me)
Tall windshield (was this stock on '01 on a GSD)
    TT chain guard
    TT shark fin
    Fork Gaiters
    Crash Guard

It was owned by a guy who is pretty active in the local club. He and his wife had a set of F650's that they traded in on a pair of 1200GS's that they took to Spokane.

He took very nice care of my bike for me and and he dressed her pretty much just like I would have.

I owe him a beer or ten.

how about the handlebars? I found the stock bendomatic bars just didnt seem to last long.
I may be interested in that saddle but mine isnt worthy of a trade

Handlebars are stock and have yet to be tested for pliability. Maybe I'll fuck 'em up on hte fall ride. It ain't yours till you break something on it right?

I bought a 20L Marsee tankbag for it today and I talking to a guy about buying his RCU lightbar. Maybe I get those installed I can break those off too.

I have a lot going on this fall, a hunting trip, my anniversary and my wife's birthday all fall in October.

Will the ride be in September? Even if it is October I will still try like hell to be there, I just may be living in my tent for longer than the weekend.

Hey Now! Looks likw the 650 needs new tires and am thinking some sort of nobbies to keep up with the Chaingolia crew. Been riding a bunch this summer but mostly on the paved stuff. I'm in for the Fall tour as I still need to make amends for my early departure on the spring Chain ride. :cry

Only the weekend of the 25th will work for me. The kid's getting hitched the weekend before. If that won't work, think about me while you are riding. I hate suits.

I hope I can join you this fall. I picked up a GS this spring and am looking forward to putting some dirt miles on her. I don't know where to ride around here - so I'm hoping riding with your crew will show me.

Hello! Lurker recently registered wannabe DS'er. (Hi Joe! Sad to see the 454 switch hands again...)

Looking for a DS to suplement all my paved time on the sportbike (if any locals have or know of one FS PLEASE let me know asap). If all goes well I may be in for a ride/trip in september. I specifically am trying to get an extra week off (19th-26th) to go riding. Originally planned to head south on the zx6e and see the Gap and stuff finally. But a closer to home DS ride would suffice as well.

It was sad but some people just arent meant to ride :D . I would guess once the snow falls a few ds bikes would go up for sale. There is a good ride coming up down state, hosted by chain. I would recomend it if you are free that weekend, its in this forum under fall ride.

If you go fast enough you can get through anything, but, how fast is fast enough?
