I think we all just use the Missouri thread unless this one pops up. I'm as mid- Missouri as you can get- Waynesville.

I am a mid Mo guy now. Left hellinois and settled in St James. Once the house is up to good condition, wife and I will be riding on the good roads. Will keep in touch. Did some riding at Finger lakes years back, fun times.

I'm still here in JCMO- thankfully I ride more than I post! Mostly backroads and western trips these days. Finger Lakes occasionally if the mud isn't too terrible. Ride on!

its been about 2 years since last at Finger Lakes, are there any decent dual sport gravel loops around Columbia, towards Booneville or backside of Midway... been awhile but getting ready for some new riding areas of interest. Im guessing nothing compared to Swinging Bridges or the old Pucky Huddle Breakfast ride??

Nothing spectacular around Columbia/Boonville area that I know of but I mostly ride South of the Missouri River since I'm in Jefferson City.

It would seem that around the Lake Ozark could be awesome, off season though. anybody have any decent gravel loops around the entire lake???

It is hard to go around the lake on gravel. It's 100 miles around on pavement. There is some good riding along the Osage on both sides and some loops that go close to the lake. The roads around HaHaTonka,Tunnel Dam are good. Lot's of curvy paved roads. Back when I had the DR650 I hit a lot of them. Most of the roads around the lake itself head down peninsulas to gave maximum lake access.

I think of where I am as Mid Mo. St. James and Lebanon are south. I end up going through both of them about twice a year getting to my favorite areas. I have often said i wish the lake was somewhere else and the clear streams and springs were up here.

Yeah, there's still a lot of gravel roads around, although it seems like Cole County has paved a lot of them in the last few years.

Did kinda a cool ride a week ago or so. Left the house and could see the steam rising from the nuke plant at Callaway , and took as many gravel, dirt, levee roads as possible . left there and back to home, 180 miles. kinda cool.

I didn't plan to ride but found time for 20 miles. Blasted around to see if my madstad bracket and screen was an improvement. It was.

Toyed around on some back roads today. It was a little brisk but was nice to get out on the bike.
